The beauty of a digital platform is that it gives you a laundry list of tools for assembling powerful stories, including videos, images, and GIFs to name a few. But it’s often the subtle things, such as our design, animations, or even font choice that send signals to our audience. If we don’t make the right choices, we can miss our audience altogether. In this talk, I’ll provide some real­ world examples of sites that work, as well as some guidance on how to make the right choices when it comes to writing copy, selecting images and videos, choosing fonts, and pulling it all together into a cohesive package that resonates with your audience.
